Tina S - Corporate Social Responsibility program manager

I’ve worked with Sue both in her capacity as a 1:1 coach and in a group coaching/facilitator setting - she is the real deal. In group settings, she is gifted at building trust and emotional intimacy amongst people who started off as strangers. She works well with different communication styles and creates a safe space for others to share their fears, worries, and to recognize patterns that may be hindering authentic happiness. Sue asks insightful questions that are informed by her own years of experience in both the professional and personal realms.

I always walk away from my conversations with her feeling grounded, more aware and ready to take action.

Sue, I would like to take a few minutes to express my greatest appreciation for the time we spent last year during our coaching sessions. It’s unbelievable how you helped me to look inside of myself and better understand who I am and what I want. Each conversation we had resulted in the “Aha” moment! It was like peeling off a layer by layer of uncertainty and complexity built up inside of me for many years. I learned where my fears are coming from and more importantly how to accept it and how to deal with it. I learned how to listen to myself and more importantly how to respect and trust that voice. I still don’t know how you did it because you didn’t even tell me much! Instead, you were guiding me (in a very clever way) to look at the world around me and at myself from a very different angle. I thank you very much for all the time you dedicated to me, because the results are priceless.

Sue helped me find greater purpose and meaning to my life when going through divorce, job loss, and relocation. I needed a change but didn’t know what to do. Path Illuminator helped me lay out a plan for self-improvement and taught me to live in the moment. Today I have a successful career and feel fulfilled and thankful. I highly recommend life coaching and Path Illuminator to anyone feeling “stuck” and needing help finding your own path to self-improvement.

One of the things I appreciate the most about Sue's coaching is that her coaching sessions were based on Life Coaching.  This style of coaching allowed me to think more broadly and to look at my whole life, not segments such as career, home life, etc.  And the other thing is that our coaching sessions were focused on the topics that I felt would be most helpful in my development so I was able to spend time on things that would help me in my day to day life no matter how big or small.   Sue emphasized the importance of living a balanced, healthy, fulfilling life.  Going through Sue's coaching sessions helped me to do quite a bit of soul searching to determine what a happy and fulfilled life would look like for me.  Sue is also down to earth and very personable so I felt at ease when speaking with her.  At the time I started coaching, I was very stressed with the demands of my work and home life and wanted to be able to find a healthy joyful balance.  Sue's approach of asking questions helped to raise my awareness of what was truly important to me and also helped me to spend the time thinking about what I really wanted to do with my life.   What I enjoyed the most is that Sue was supportive, encouraging, and insightful throughout the process.  She had a way of asking just the right questions or providing just the right insight.  I felt very emotional at times because I could tell that Sue truly cared about my growth and she reminded me of my great qualities that would allow me to achieve my goals.  Also I felt emotional because I was making progress on some of the things that had been very challenging in my life.   I was able to build the courage to go for the career that I've always wanted and also to spend more time checking in on myself to make sure that I continue to live a balanced and happy life. I felt courageous and empowered after our sessions because I knew that I had a coach that believed in me and I was holding myself accountable for my goals and happiness. Thank you, Sue!!!
